The work board is split into two parts from the top down.

• Clue Operation groupbox: in this region there are a set of buttons, checkbox and other controls for creating, deleting clues, for changing their types or for previewing clue extraction rules.

• Clue definition region: In this region there are a few tabbed windows which one-to-one correspond to clue's types set by pushing the radio button accordingly in the Clue Operation region. In the windows, users can edit the attributes of the clue. In this chapter, basic operations on a few types of clues are shown. More information on all types of the clues are provided in MetaStudio Senior User's Handbook#Clue Type.
