In current release, all data schema recognition rules are generated automatically after having defined data and clue extraction rules since most of the recognition rules are deduced from key attributes of properties and clues. MetaStudio doesn't provide approach to define standalone recognition rules. There is a viewDSD button on Filter Editor work board. Through pushing this button, the DSD file is presented in the left column of DSD Preview output window in Output region. On the right column, there is a Test button by pushing which the user can validate the target page against the data schema. The validation results are alerted by a few popup windows.
