On Bucket Editor work board, data schema and data extraction rules are defined which are used by MetaStudio to calculate for data extraction instruction files, also named as MAP and GEM files respectively. MetaStudio also provides ways to validate the data extraction rules. What should be done on the board to define data schema and data extraction rules is described in the following sections.
