The two scenarioes are different in the locations of MetaCamp servers. If enterprises don't want to make defined data schema public, they should deploy dedicated MetaCamp server.

Scenario 1: Shared over the internet

  • The MetaCamp runs on the internet, which is shared by users for collaborative work on data schema.
  • Users can access not only dedicated DataStore servers deployed with their enterprise but also public DataStore servers shared over the internet. With the permission of the owner of Data and Clue Extraction Instruction Files and resulted data files, users can share them without re-inventing a wheel.
  • MetaStudio clients and DataScraper clients are deployed by users respectively.

Scenario 2: Dedicated within an enterprise

  • All tools from MetaSeeker toolkit are deployed within an enterprise. At the same time, shared MetaCamp servers over the internet can also be accessed.
